Clad in red, CCSD teachers rallying for classroom improvements

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Hundreds of teachers along with The Clark County Education Association (CCEA) will descend onto the Clark County School District Building.

They will wear red shirts and rally Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in front of the building.

They are pressuring the Clark County School District to put more resources in the classroom and give tools needed to deliver a quality education.

The CCEA represents nearly 18,000 teachers and wants district officials to make students' education their top priority.

They say an increase in class size by an average of three to four students will hurt their academic success

FOX5's Doug Johnson (@dougjohnsonFOX5) will have details on Wednesday's rally on FOX5 News at 5 p.m.
