
A United States ambassador based in Brazil affirmed the importance to stream line the VISA process to expand tourism especially to the Las Vegas area.
Deputy Chief of Mission to the U.S. Embassy in Brazil, Todd Chapman, was the keynote guest Monday during the World Affairs Council of Las Vegas luncheon.
Chapman explained Brazil's economy is the sixth largest in the world, with a gross domestic product (GDP) topping $2 trillion.
Chapman said the country invested heavily in education over the last 20 years and he attributed that to the successful economic growth there.
Armed with the fact, Chapman emphasized the free trade relationship between the U.S. and Brazil and its future potential.
Chapman also emphasized the fact that Las Vegas is one of the most desired locations for Brazilians wanting to tour the U.S.
