LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Billions of dollars were won and lost betting on the Super Bowl, but the most painful defeat played out on Fremont Street Monday night.

Mix 94.1's Mark, Mercedes and JC had to recreate Madonna's halftime performance after losing their annual bet to Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and former Mayor Oscar Goodman.

It's become a Mix 94.1 tradition for the morning crew to make a Super Bowl bet with the mayor.

So, for the 2012 edition, the Goodman's bet on the Giants while Mark, Mercedes and JC took the Patriots.

New York's 21-17 win meant a dose of Madonna and humility for the radio crew.

At 5 p.m. Monday night on Fremont Street Experience's 3rd Street Stage, the trio did their best to mimic the material girl's epic halftime performance.

No word if there was another unfortunate moment involving a "birdie."

Former Mayor Oscar Goodman also won the bet last year forcing Mark, Mercedes and JC to dress up as the stars from "Jersey Shore" and fist pump for an hour on the side of the street.
