LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A deadly weekend on Las Vegas area roads claimed the lives of five people, while another person remained hospitalized Monday with critical injuries.

Police said at least two of the five separate deadly incidents stretching from Friday through Sunday night involved possible drunk driving.

The Clark County Coroner's Office released names of those killed over the weekend, as follows:

  • Sean D. Kinshella, 30, of Las Vegas was behind the wheel of a Honda sport-utility vehicle when it traveled off Highway 91 northeast of the Las Vegas Valley and rolled over on Friday night, the Clark County Coroner's office reported. Kinshella was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle at around 10:30 p.m. Kinshella represented Las Vegas Metro police's tenth traffic-related fatality.
  • Martize J. Gray, 26, was riding his motorcycle on southbound Rainbow Boulevard near Balzar Avenue when he hit a curb, was thrown off the bike and struck a traffic light pole Saturday around 10:36 p.m. He was pronounced dead at UMC Trauma. Gray represented the 11th traffic-related collision in the Las Vegas area.
  • Ryan Joseph Callahan, 23, was killed around 11:51 a.m. Sunday when his motorcycle, going westbound on Alexander Road, collided with a Kia-model vehicle entering the intersection with Torrey Pines Drive. Police said Callahan was depositing tire marks on the roadway, fell on his side and collided with the right side of the Kia. Callahan was pronounced dead at UMC Trauma. He represented the twelfth traffic-related death in Metro's jurisdiction.
  • North Las Vegas police responded to the city's first traffic-related fatality involving Sandra Metz, 52. Police said Metz was traveling at a high rate of speed on Ranch House Road when she approached the T-intersection with Clayton Street. The vehicle crashed into a chain link fence and was ejected from the vehicle just after 3 p.m. Sunday. She later died. Police believe alcohol played a factor in the single-vehicle crash.

The Clark County Coroner's office have yet to identify the 24-year-old driver killed in a multi-car crash that happened Sunday at 8:48 p.m. Police said a sport-utility vehicle driven by Veronica Arana, 33, veered into oncoming traffic while driving on Rainbow Boulevard near Wigwam Avenue. Arana's vehicle struck a Ford Mustang and a Honda-model SUV. The driver in the Mustang died at the scene. A 17-year-old driver in the Honda SUV sustained minor injuries.

In a separate incident, a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical condition after a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Noel Lynn Laredo steered into a bus stop near Spring Mountain and El Camino roads Sunday around 5:08 a.m.

The driver involved was arrested at the scene on drunken driving charges.
