UNLV falls in rankings after loss to Wyoming

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Wyoming's 68-66 upset win over UNLV on Saturday knocked the Runnin' Rebels back in the weekly college basketball rankings.

The Rebels dropped from No. 11 to No. 14 in the Associated Press rankings and fell from No. 13 to No. 16 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll.

At 21-4 and 5-2 in conference play, UNLV trails San Diego State in the Mountain West. The Aztecs are 20-3 and 6-1 in the conference.

The two teams face each other Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Thomas and Mack Center.
