Police: Driver that crashed into bus stop failed sobriety test

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A 26-year-old woman who steered her vehicle into a bus stop early Sunday morning failed a sobriety test, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

The crash happened on Spring Mountain Road west of El Camino Road at about 5:08 a.m.

A 15-year-old boy waiting near the bus stop was struck by the vehicle. He was rushed to University Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver, who hasn't been identified, was arrested at the scene and charged with drunken driving.

Police said the woman and a 36-year-old passenger in the vehicle were not hurt.
