South Point hosting food truck fest, movie night

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The South Point Hotel Casino and Spa will host the South Point Gourmet Food Truck Fest: Dinner and a Movie on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event will feature gourmet food trucks from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix and Denver, as well as the screening of the John Wayne hit "The Searchers".

Organizers say a vast array of innovative cuisines and adult beverage at the hot chocolate and coffee liqueur station will be available while enjoying a night under the stars.

Admission to the event is free to the public. The food trucks, though, accept cash only for food and drink purchases.
