$8K donation made for Three Square Food Bank

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

DaVita Inc. is presenting an $8,000 check to Three Square Food Bank Monday.

The donation will take place at 10 a.m. at Three Square Food Bank near Pecos and Craig roads

The check presentation is part of DaVita Inc's nationwide initiative to give one million dollars to local charities.

Each recipient is selected by local teammates rather than company executives.

DaVita Inc. is a Fortune 500 company which is a leading provider of kidney care in the United States.

Three Square is Southern Nevada's only food bank which provides assistance for Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda County.

The food bank provides more than 22 million pounds of groceries and meals for people in need every year.
