Any Given Child program focusing on student arts in Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Community Arts Team is gathering at Gilbert Magnet Elementary School on Friday to discuss the first phase of the Any Given Child initiative.

The program is working to bring access, balance and equity to student arts education.

It was created by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Friday's event will focus on the report findings for the first phase of the program.

Singer Clint Holmes will emcee the event.

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Clark County School District Superintendent Dwight Jones will speak.

The Austin Dancers and area children's groups will perform.
