LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Safe Faith United, a support group for victims of domestic abuse, is holding a demonstration Thursday in opposition of boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s domestic battery ruling.

Domestic abuse victims, survivors and their supporters are slated to gather outside of the Clark County Regional Justice Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Participants will be wearing boxing gloves to symbolize their feelings of injustice in Mayweather's January court sentencing.

Mayweather has been involved in several court cases recently and even admitted to attacking his ex-girlfriend while two of their children watched in September 2010.

The boxer also pleaded no contest to poking a local security guard.

Judge Melissa Saragosa handed down a decision to postpone a 90-day jail sentence for Mayweather until June due to an upcoming boxing match.

Event organizers say the judge in this case should have delayed Mayweather's next fight instead of postponing his sentence.
