While most armed robbers go straight for the cash register, a pair of crooks who held up a convenience store last week had eyes on the beverage cooler.
Las Vegas Metro police on Thursday released photographs from the Jan. 16 robbery in the 2500 block of N. Pecos Road.
One suspect took a soda and left the store without paying, police said, while the other used a firearm to ensure his partner's escape.
The beverage-taking suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 22 years of age, 6 feet in height, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hat with a light-colored sticker on the brim, black coat, white shirt with a purple shirt underneath, a silver necklace and black pants.
The armed suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 22 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches, 140 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black coat and tan shorts.
