LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

More than 45 firefighters were called to attack a fire that engulfed a home in the Las Vegas Country Club.

According to the Clark County Fire Department, the fire was first reported around 10:41 p.m. in the 800 block of Vegas Valley Drive, south of Tam O'Shanter.

Multiple calls were made of smoke in that area.

First responding crews found the back side of the two-story home heavily involved in flames, fire officials said. The fire had also extended into the attic.

Fire crews from CCFD and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue were able to knock down much of the fire before engaging in an attack on the outside of the home.

No one was inside the home at the time. The fire took about 75 minutes to bring it under control.

No one was injured in the firefight. Damage was estimated at $425,000.

Officials are looking into what sparked the blaze.
