FOX5 Vegas - KVVUVegas area police 'Joining Forces' for traffic safety

North Las Vegas police is scheduled to join law enforcement agencies in southern Nevada to monitor and keep motorists safe this week.
The police department said officers will join Las Vegas Metro police in a number of "Joining Forces" Intersection Safety events.
According to NLVPD, officers will enforce the intersection of Serene and Eastern avenues, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
North Las Vegas police will hold a safety event also on Friday near Cheyenne Avenue and Losee Road from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Law enforcement agencies including Henderson, Las Vegas and Boulder City police departments as well as Nevada Highway Patrol will take part.
