FOX5 Vegas - KVVUVegas Valley Book Festival seeks poster artist

The Vegas Valley Book Festival is looking for a local artist to create its 2012 festival posters.
It's searching for an artist who can make a series of three original artworks which will serve as the official posters.
Interested artists are encouraged to submit qualifications to develop works that celebrate the main book festival, the Vegas Valley Children's Book Festival and the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival.
The project is open to all artists who live in Southern Nevada, excluding members of the VVBF Steering Committee and employees (and their families) of the city of Las Vegas, Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Nevada Humanities.
There is no entry fee for submissions and the selected artist will receive an honorarium of $1,500.
The application deadline is Feb. 10, 2012.
