NFL pro, Vegas native hosting 'An Evening with Steven Jackson'

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Football fanatics will get a chance to meet one of the best running backs in the NFL and eat some seafood.

Joe's Stone Crab is hosting "An Evening With Steven Jackson" to benefit the Steven Jackson Foundation.

People will have the opportunity to mingle with the Eldorado High School graduate and learn more about the causes he supports.

The foundation's focus is to promote strong educational values among today's youth, organizers said.

There will also be a silent auction with numerous sports item such as signed memorabilia from Steven Jackson, UFC tickets and an autographed Dwyane Wade jersey.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. call 630-315-2963 if you're interested in attending.
