LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Authorities believe speed was a factor in an early morning car crash that killed two people in the northwest end of Las Vegas.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported the crash around 1:45 a.m. at the 215 Beltway and Cheyenne Avenue northbound off-ramp.

According to troopers, a white Toyota Camry was exiting the off-ramp between 70 and 80 miles per hour.

It went through a red light and hit a wall, authorities said. The car rolled over and came to a rest at the 215 northbound on-ramp at Cheyenne.

Authorities said two people died on the scene. It took crews some time to pull the victim's body from the rolled car.

Authorities also told FOX5 on the scene that one of the people killed was a woman.

The 215 on-ramp at Cheyenne was shut down while crews cleared the scene but officials reopened it just before 7:30 a.m.
