Posted: Updated:

It's an annual tradition that Las Vegas does as well as – and maybe better than – any city.

On Monday, beginning at 10 a.m., tens of thousands of people will come to downtown Las Vegas for the 30th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.

"As a company that shares Dr. King's vision of a world where equal rights, freedom and liberty are enjoyed by every American, MGM Resorts is pleased to host this parade and join the community in honoring the legacy of Dr. King," said Jim Murren, Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International.

This is the second consecutive year the parade is presented by MGM Resorts International.

This year's parade will include 145 entries, including floats, marching bands, dancers and motorcades with cars and motorcycles.

The theme of the parade is "Living the Dream: Rebuilding A 30-Year-Pilgrimage – Our Nation reached the Mountaintop!
