LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Smoke was visible from the roof of a fast food restaurant that caught fire on the Las Vegas Strip Monday.
According to the Clark County Fire Department, the two-alarm fire was reported at a McDonald's restaurant on Las Vegas Boulevard near Four Seasons Drive at around 9:42 a.m.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the restaurant, which is located in a strip mall.
More than 30 Clark County Fire personnel were called to the incident.
Most of the damage was in the roof area of the restaurant, officials said. The damage was estimated at $200,000.
People inside the restaurant at the time were evacuated and the location was closed and under renovation.
An investigation in the fire's cause is underway.
