Metro totals New Year's Eve offenses

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the New Year's Eve celebration Saturday remained "orderly."

As of 2 a.m. Sunday, Metro arrested 57 people on the Las Vegas Strip for minor misdemeanor offenses. The Downtown Area Command, which includes the Fremont Street Experience, arrested four for similar offenses.

Metro arrested 22 people for driving under the influence.

There were no reported fatal traffic accidents.

Metro will release additional information when all New Year's Eve data is compiled.
