FOX5 Vegas - KVVU‘Toss Ross’ recall petition clears state hurdle

The Nevada Secretary of State says a petition to recall Las Vegas Ward 6 Councilman Steve Ross has met the minimum number of signatures required, setting up a possible special election early next year.
Ross has a right to file a legal challenge against his opponents, who have created a website dubbed "Toss Ross" and gathered 1,050 valid signatures for the petition. That's more than the 1,084 signatures required.
The Las Vegas City Clerk must call for a recall election in the next 20 days, and the election would take place within 30 days of that decision.
