LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Clark County firefighters say a fire broke out at 4588 Sacks Drive at 8:10 a.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke and fire coming from the rear of the one story, single-family home.
Fire personnel opened the structure from the roof - a process called ventilation.
During a search for victims, no humans were found, but firefighters did remove a live domestic rabbit from the burning home.
Clark County animal control responded to the scene to pick up the rabbit.
There were no injuries to fire personnel or civilians.
The owner reportedly recently evicted the occupants, and he was about to begin fixing the vandalized property back up.
Fire damage is estimated at $20,000.
CCFD is still investigating the cause of the fire.
