Nationwide 'Kindness Cab' gives free rides in Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

British TV host Leon Logothetis trekked cross country in a taxi cab for his program "Amazing Adventures of a Nobody."

Armed with only $5, Logothetis made it from New York to Los Angeles relying on the kindness of strangers.

The TV host is in the midst of his second such trek, using that same spirit of kindness to help school students across the country.

Logothetis is making stops at cities along his journey to give free cab rides. With the fare he could have collected from those rides, he will donate the same amount to ClassWish.

The organization buys books for local schools.

He was in Las Vegas Friday to continue his free rides mission.

He is expected to arrive in Los Angeles the week of Nov. 14 for World Kindness Week.
