Valley residents Thursday demanded jobs outside the offices of two senators.
Members of MoveOn.org protested outside the Las Vegas offices of senators Dean Heller and Harry Reid.
It was part of a nationwide campaign to address the jobs crisis in the country. Protests shouted their demands for jobs rather than cuts.
Called the American Dream Movement Protest, demonstrators told FOX5 they're fed up with Washington, D.C.
"They [lawmakers] have to realize that people are desperate and they're talking about cutting the very social programs that people are depending on ever more today," said protestor Linda Overbey.
Protestors stressed that America's deficit is another important issue, but not as important as getting America back to work.
