
The nation's largest gathering of the gaming industry hits Las Vegas this week and they will be met with a group who wants to take the smoke out of casinos.
Smoke-Free Gaming of America will be at the Sands Expo and Convention center this week, urging casinos to ban smoking for the health of employees and visitors.
Casinos in many states have already adopted a no smoking stance and advocates say it makes good business sense.
Stephanie Steinberg, Chairman of Smoke-Free Gaming of America says, "It doesn't make for a very good business plan to promote and accommodate smoking when smokers die an average of 15 years earlier than non-smokers. They are essentially killing their customers."
