Man arrested for impersonating police officer

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police have arrested a man for impersonating a police officer.

On Monday, police responded to a call about an intoxicated man at the Hustler Club, 3131 Ponderosa Way in Las Vegas.

Police found 29-year-old Brandon Mullen sitting in his Ford Ranger and arrested him for DUI.

Bar security and an employee told police that Mullen regularly identifies himself at the club as a North Las Vegas police officer and displays a gold, shield-style badge.

Police found the badge in his truck as well as a pair of handcuffs in his pants pocket.

Mullen was taken to Clark County Detention Center and booked for impersonating a police officer.
