Clothing shops at Tivoli Village plan to make the school year fashionable for deserving teens in the Las Vegas-area.
The newly-opened shopping district in Summerlin will hold its first Rally for Fashion show and clothing drive scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10.
The drive is asking for gently used clothing for teens that will be donated to St. Jude's Ranch for Children and Las Vegas Prom Closet.
Those clothing items include homecoming and prom dresses, purses, jewelry and men's dress pants, jackets, shoes and belts. Administrators for the clothing drive ask that the items be cleaned or dry cleaned and hung with no repairs needed.
Several Tivoli Village stores will also put their wares on display in a fashion show with cheerleaders from Palo Verde, Faith Lutheran, and Centennial high schools modeling.
The clothing drive and fashion show are expected to start at 12 p.m. and go through 6 p.m.
