Man arrested for DUI in west Vegas crash

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

According to Metro police, one person was arrested for DUI in a crash Monday night that sent a woman to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police say that just before 8:40 Monday night, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Desert Inn Road ran a red light and hit two cars traveling northbound through a green light.

The injured woman was ejected from her vehicle and taken to University Medical Center.

Police arrested suspect Joe Moreno for felony DUI with injury, reckless driving and driving without a license.

Several other vehicles were damaged in the crash as well.
