LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

No bomb materials were found following the arrests of two Californians accused of phoning in threats to Las Vegas hotels and casinos.

The suspects, one juvenile and an adult identified as Zachary Jackson, were arrested this week by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Their home was searched by detectives.

"No materials were found," said Lt. Greg Damarin with Metro's counter-terrorism unit. "We determined it was not a threat to Las Vegas."

The two are charged with making false threats and attempted extortion.

Metro police said the pair used sophisticated devices to disguise their voices and location when calling resorts and threatening to detonate bombs if their demands weren't met.
