While Las Vegas tourism has shown signs of improvement, the number of weddings has dropped. Wedding chapel owners say it's because Clark County stopped offering 24-hour wedding licenses in 2006.
According to wedding chapel owners, the number of marriage licenses issued went down from about 128,000 in 2004 to 91,000 last year. The numbers have been the lowest since 1993.
