Las Vegans are getting their first look inside a home that could have been featured in the reality series "Hoarders."

An estate sale began Friday at 1708 S. 8th Street, where a liquidation company is selling $1 items that belonged to the property's owner, Ann Edwards.

But the story behind the sale is attracting the most attention.

When the company went to inventory the woman's belongings, they found boxes of clothing piled floor to ceiling and rows of junk reaching to the back yard fence.

Renee Poole, owner of Call Renee Estate Liquidation, was called by Edwards' family to hold the sale.

When Poole arrived to the home she couldn't believe her eyes.

"I've been doing this for about 25 years and I have never, ever seen so much stuff," she said.

Clark County Assessor records show Ann Edwards and her husband bought the home in 1969. Her husband passed away in 1998.

Poole believes Edwards lived alone ever since, and the rest of her family lives out of state.

The hoard has many items including: clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags and home decorations, many are brand new. The backyard is filled with more than a dozen storage sheds packed to the brim.

Cleaning crews have spent more than a week getting ready for the sale. Poole says they hauled away about six truckloads of trash and donated some items to charity.

The estate sale runs Friday and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 2 PM.

Most items are marked one dollar and still have original price tags on them.

More information on the sale can be found on the liquidation company's website.
