LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Echoing the message his boss sent out earlier this week, Vice President Joe Biden urged union members on the Las Vegas Strip Friday to take on the wealthy so the economic burden doesn't fall on the middle class.
"Ever thought you would be fighting for your right to work for less again?" Biden asked the crowd gathered for the Teamsters Union's international convention at the Paris Hotel and Casino.
The speech comes after months of contentious battles between state governments and public employee unions, and days after President Barack Obama said tax increases on high-income earners are key to reducing America's debt.
"The middle class cannot afford to lose this war," a fired-up Biden told the Teamsters. "Do not give up."
