Considered the "King of the TV Makeovers," Kim Vô introduced his talents and unique ideas to Las Vegas with the December 2007 opening of his salon at The Mirage. Currently, a head judge on Bravo's hit reality hair competition "Shear Genius," Vô also has worked among an elite team of experts on ABC's "Extreme Makeover" and appeared regularly on E! Entertainment's "The Daily 10" as a guest beauty expert.

An artist by choice and training, Vô turns hair into his canvas. Recognized as a top colorist, he dedicates himself to painting the perfect color on every client's stylish coif. Vô's ideology, the concept of total beauty, is expressed through a complete menu of services, his skillfully trained staff and unique salon features. A focal point within the salon is the Beauty Bar, which features wigs, changed monthly, to reflect the latest hair colors and cuts for the season. Hair extensions, in assorted colors and made famous by some of the hottest celebrities, have their own area within the Beauty Bar. Those who want to go from short to long have an opportunity to preview the options as well as receive consultation from a salon artistic director, trained by Kim Vô, to offer the expertise necessary when creating a new look. Each client can "play" with these different looks before selecting the one that best expresses his or her style.

To complete the new look, an expert makeup artist encourages clients to choose a look for the season and educates them on the proper method of application.

Salon services, which reflect the "try it" philosophy of the Beauty Bar, include treatments to maintain hair health. A retail area features a full collection of the newest Kim Vô products for the hair, specialty apparel and unique accessories and gifts.

For male guests, a barbershop provides men's grooming products along with traditional barber services.

Vô, whose personal clients include Kate Hudson, Katherine Heigl, Britney Spears, Kirsten Dunst and Jenny McCarthy, trains all stylists and colorists to ensure that his high standards are maintained.

Born in Vietnam and raised in Europe, his artistry flowered in the glamour capital of the world, Los Angeles. In 1995, Vô joined famed hairstylist Cristophe at his Beverly Hills salon, where his clientele included such prominent figures as former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. That same year he traveled the globe as a Master Colorist for L'Oreal and began his in-depth study of cutting-edge French hair techniques.

In 1998, Vô moved to another top Beverly Hills salon, Privé, where he continued to develop his craft and clientele. Then in 2001, with a roster of celebrity clients including Teri Hatcher, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson and Sylvester Stallone, Vô opened his own salon, B2V, in West Hollywood. It was here he refined his signature approach to color, the now in-vogue practice of "dusting," a technique that ensures hair and complexion are in perfect harmony.

Applying the same care and technique of a painter, Vô masterfully layers colors, shade by shade, by patiently lifting the hair, piece by piece. "I always make sure that the ultimate result has a layered or dappled look, similar to children's hair where the dominant color is intermingled with subtle tones, highlights or lowlights, depending on the base hue," Vô said.

Vô's signature line of luxury hair care products for color-treated hair blends ancient, Vietnamese botanicals with the latest French nanotechnologies. "I plan to continue to develop technologically advanced products that will create new standards in consumer hair care," Vô said.
