Las Vegas Metro police have identified the officers involved in the Monday fatal shooting at a PT's Pub at 2280 S. Nellis Blvd.
The officers shot and killed 22-year-old Benjamin Bowman of Henderson after he took a female bartender hostage with a knife during a failed robbery attempt, police said
According to a police report, the woman broke free as Bowman raised the knife to stab her, prompting officers to shoot him several times.
Metro identified the officers as 26-year-old Michael Franco, 39-year-old Phillip Zaragoza and 29-year-old Peter Kruse.
Franco has been with Metro since January 2009; Zaragoza since November 2008; and Kruse since September 2005.
