Elizabeth Watts - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

Elizabeth Watts joined FOX5 in March of 2010.

If she looks familiar, that's because she's no stranger to Las Vegas. A graduate from UNLV's Journalism Department and a resident since childhood, Elizabeth provides a unique "local's perspective" in her reporting.

She covers everything from hard news, politics and the economy, to fun features you can only find in our 24-hour town.

Prior to FOX5, Elizabeth worked as an Anchor/Reporter at KYMA Channel 11 in Yuma Arizona, and a Producer at Channel 3 here in Las Vegas.

When she's away from the newsroom you might find her enjoying a hike at Red Rock Canyon or out at the Thomas & Mack cheering for her Runnin' Rebels.

Even though she's a "local" by Las Vegas standards, Elizabeth is a native Texan and roots for AmerIca's team, aka the Dallas Cowboys. She's also enjoying her life as a newlywed, and is probably the biggest Beatles fan you'll ever meet.
