On Tuesday, a car wash fundraiser was held for the teenager who was shot to death at a weekend birthday party.
Friends and family members washed cars to raise donations at the Silver Nugget Casino for Priscilla Castillo.
Castillo died when a gun went off and shot through the floor of an upstairs bedroom. Police said Alexander Portillo was putting the gun away when it went off. He has been arrested.
“Our little brothers and sisters are going around neighborhoods getting donations for the funeral. We're making shirts. We're trying to do everything we know how to do to get money to raise money for her funeral," said Castillo’s friend Lilian Sarabia.
