Matt DeLucia

FOX5 News Reporter

Matt DeLucia joined the FOX5 news team in January 2009.

He came to Las Vegas from WSHM in Springfield, Mass., where he was a reporter and fill-in anchor. While in Springfield, he covered the cancer diagnosis of Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Prior to working in New England, Matt worked as a reporter and sports anchor in Salisbury, M.D.

While studying Communication at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Matt started his broadcasting career as a part-time reporter for the New Jersey Network. During the winter of 2006, he was given an opportunity to work in production for NBC at the Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.

In 2007, Matt was honored with a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for his work as host and producer of a program focusing on the rising homicide rate in Philadelphia.

Matt was born and raised in southern New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and he is an avid bowler. He's also recently taken up golfing, even though his game needs some improvement.
