LAS VEGAS -- FOX5 was the first to tell the public when NFL star Javon Walker was found beaten and unconscious off the Strip.A wild night of partying at Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at 4455 Paradise Road led up to his beating.More than $100,000 worth of jewelry, including a watch, necklace and earrings, and thousands of dollars in cash were taken from NFL player Javon Walker Monday morning, police said.Police found Walker beaten unconscious behind the Strip.Listeners at ESPN Radio said pro athletes should take this as a lesson learned.“If you think about back in the day, Jim Brown, Larry Byrd .... You never would have seen that from them. New generation. Old school would have never done this,” said Seat Williams of ESPN Radio.Pictures of excessive partying were posted on SpyOnVegas.com --- photos of Walker spraying the night club crowd Sunday night at Body English with champagne.And a YouTube video claims it also happened about a month ago in the same club.Police said soon after the Hard Rock ruckus, the sparkly watch in the photos was stolen, along with a necklace, earrings and cash worth more than $100,000.After 7 a.m. Monday, Walker was found near East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, beaten unconscious and suffering significant facial injuries.“You hope that he gets it. You only get so many red flags in your lifetime. And for him, the sand could be running out of that hourglass pretty quickly,” Williams said.Police said they are reviewing surveillance video to determine the exact times and locations of Walker on Sunday night and Monday morning.Police said they don't believe the crime was a random act.They said there could be more than one robber, but they have not identified anyone yet.
