Dolphins Safety Worrell Tears ACL

POSTED: 5:21 pm PST December 3, 2007

(Sports Network) - Miami Dolphins safety Cameron Worrell will be out the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during Sunday's 40-13 home loss to the New York Jets.

Worrell is the fourth safety to suffer a season-ending injury for the 0-12 Dolphins, joining Yeremiah Bell, Travares Tillman and Renaldo Hill. Worrell became the starting safety for the Dolphins when Hill went down with a torn right ACL in a loss to New England on October 21.
