Controls Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to focus on improvements and production support for new and highly automated pharmaceutical dispensing and packaging systems, and drive overall capability for unit operations. Your primary responsibility will be to execute small development projects, or components of larger development projects, and identify “value-engineering” opportunities, while troubleshooting and providing corrective action as needed. Systems include PLC-5 Ladder Logic and SCADA programs, as well as robotic, vision, and bottle-packaging equipment systems.

Position requires a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related technical degree), 5-10 years of relevant work experience with material-handling/packaging systems, and an extensive background in testing, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of PLC- +based control systems. Must be knowledgeable of design/enhancement and implementation of PLC, Human Machine Interface, Visual Basic, Visual C++, and Microsoft SSQL Server applications, and demonstrate a solid understanding of V+ programming language and AIM graphical user interface.

Warehouse Supervisor
In this role, you will ensure adherence to specialized procedures for the receipt, care and distribution of drug/non-drug materials in order to maintain their quantity, quality and security. You’ll use your strong management skills to supervise a team of 20+ unionized hourly employees, and will proactively lead continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires close collaboration with Business Planning, Inventory Management, Engineering, MIS, Customer Service, Safety and Quality Assurance groups.

The top candidate will bring 2-4 years of first-line supervisory experience; excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; a background in hiring, evaluating and training staff; and PC proficiency. Extensive experience is required in inventory accounting, receiving, invoice management, expediting/shipment tracing, inventory procurement models, and physical inventory/cycle counting procedures. Knowledge of pharmaceuticals (pharmacy license not required) and/or a college degree are pluses.
