Recipe For A Refreshing Summer Fruit Smoothie!

Here's a yummy recipe from Truman Jones, Chef at Medici Cafe and Terrace in the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas.

Summer Fruit Smoothie Serves 2

  • ¼ each Cantaloupe, rind removed and cut into cubes
  • 5 each ripe strawberries, stemmed
  • 1 cupYogurt (your favorite flavor)
  • 1/3 cup Orange juice
  • ½ cupIce cubes
  • 2 each Mint sprigs
  • 1 each Strawberry cut in half for garnish

Method Place all the ingredients, except one spring of mint and the strawberry garnish, into a blender. Blend everything on medium to high speed until liquefied and smooth. Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass, garnish with the other sprig of mint and the half strawberry and Enjoy!
