The memorabilia dealer who led O.J. Simpson to a hotel room where an infamous robbery occurred is suing "Dr. Phil."

Thomas Riccio claimed his remarks in an interview this month were spliced to change their meaning. Riccio said Dr. Phil falsely claimed he set up O.J., and the show edited out his denial.

Riccio's accusing Dr. Phil and his company of fraud and defamation. He's seeking unspecified damages.

A spokeswoman for Dr. Phil declined to comment.

Simpson was convicted of 12 charges in a Las Vegas court earlier this month.
