Judge Demands Order In O.J. Courtroom

Fromong Resumes Testimony

There were some heated moments during the O.J. Simpson armed robbery trial Tuesday.

It was day two of witness testimony.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys had their fair share of objections, but it was Judge Jackie Glass who threw a tantrum.

“Sit down! We can't do it this way! Sit down! Sit down! Mr. Galanter, do you have an objection?” she said.

The leading lady in the Simpson armed robbery trial demanded order in her courtroom.

“The last thing you want is for me, as the judge, to lose my temper in front of these fine folks,” Glass said. “Or this is going to be a very, very, very unpleasant experience.”

Bruce Fromong was back on the stand. His testimony was cut short Monday afternoon when he complained about chest pains.

Fromong is considered a key witness and one of the alleged victims. He testified that when Simpson and five other men barged into his hotel room last September two of them were armed.

Fromong said Simpson's co-defendant, Clarence Stewart, shoved him during the incident, leaving him bruised.

Defense attorneys alleged his testimony was inconsistent, because Fromong was more interested in spinning his story to the tabloids.

Gabe Grasso played a recording with Fromong saying he would have Inside Edition “down for us tomorrow. I told them I want big money.”

The defense team insisted 61-year-old Simpson had no intentions of robbing Fromong and Alfred Beardsley. The defense maintains the former football star was recovering personal items that were stolen from him.

But Fromong said the items in question are legitimate sports memorabilia that he did not steal from Simpson.

Other key witnesses expected to testify included four of Simpson's former co-defendants.

Simpson and his Stewart are facing 12 charges including kidnapping and armed robbery.

They could face life in prison.
