Henderson Girl Drowns In Pool

HENDERSON, Nev. -- A 2-year-old girl drowned in a backyard pool Wednesday afternoon in Henderson.She has been identified as Iysha Rebecca Kruyar of Henderson. Her death has been ruled accidental by the coroner’s office.Todd Rasmussen of Henderson police said the drowning occurred at 944 San Carlos Lane. He said he was unsure how long the girl was in the pool or who was responsible for watching her.Police said they will not be filing charges.This was the eighth drowning of a child this year in southern Nevada.
