Jacksonville, FL -- (Sports Network) - Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis will miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee.

Mathis, who leads the team with four interceptions, sprained his medial collateral ligament in the Jags' Monday night matchup at Houston. Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Wednesday it will not require surgery.

A second-round pick in 2003 and a Pro Bowl selection in 2006, Mathis has 40 tackles and one sack this season. In 90 career games with Jacksonville, he has accumulated 375 tackles, one sack, three forced fumbles and 25 interceptions.
