Stefanie Jay joined the FOX5 news team in July 2008.

She was born and raised in Orange County, Calif., and she is thrilled to be back near family and friends!

She came to Las Vegas from KMID in Midland, Texas, where she was a reporter and weekend anchor.

Stefanie covered a wide range of stories, including the raid of the Yearning for Zion Ranch and the tragic shooting deaths of three police officers.

She also learned how to two-step and went to her first rodeo!

In her spare time, Stefanie loves to dance, go to the beach and be with family and friends.
