Mike Doria has gone from one extreme to the other by moving to the desert. All of his life he has been used to freezing cold winters in Upstate, N.Y., with lots of snow!

Mike comes to FOX5 News from Rochester, NY where he grew up. There he worked at WHAM-TV (ABC) as a night side reporter. He’s covered a wide range of stories, but was often called upon to report on budgets and the ongoings in county and city government. Prior to Rochester, Mike worked at a Fox station in Albany, N.Y., where he was a reporter. He was also a reporter and weekend anchor at an ABC station in Binghamton.

Working the morning shift here at FOX5 is a bit of an adjustment for Mike, who is used to being a night owl, but he doesn’t mind the change. In his free time, he enjoys working out, watching reality television, spending time with friends and singing karaoke. Being Italian, Mike would love to learn to speak the language; he is already able to speak Spanish.
