Two Las Vegas Strip performers were rushed to an emergency room Tuesday night after falling to the stage during an aerial stunt.

Video of the performance was obtained by FOX5 Wednesday. It shows performers “Ai and Yuki” swinging above the stage during a performance of “Zen Magic” at the Planet Hollywood resort.

After swinging back and forth several times on a set of silk ropes, one of the women attempts to shift the couple to a new position when the rope slips through her grasp, sending them both to the floor.

Audible gasps can be heard from the audience, but the camera does not show where the women landed. The curtain then closes and the performance was canceled.

“One of the women made a slight miscalculation while the performers were suspended from silk ropes,” said the show’s executive director, Mike Kawata.

A spokeswoman for the show said the audience was issued a refund.

The performers, dubbed the “First Ladies of Illusion,” were taken to Spring Valley Hospital, several blocks west of the Strip.

The extent of their injuries was not released, but a spokeswoman said both women were expected to return to the stage Wednesday night.
