PAHRUMP, Nev. -- A couple wanted on charges of attempted murder and armed robbery was arrested Monday in the Nye County town of Pahrump.

Jack Mills, 52, and Rebecca Mills, 50, were accused of breaking into a Santa Barbara home and shooting one of its residents.

It's unknown what led the couple to southern Nevada. Authorities said they surrendered peacefully to a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Investigative Strike Team this morning.
