Christensen Enters Race Against Reid
Assemblyman Calls Reid Policies 'Damaging'

LAS VEGAS -- The field of GOP candidates seeking to unseat Nevada Sen. Harry Reid grew Thursday when state Assemblyman Chad Christensen announced he would enter the race.Christensen, who currently serves as the assembly’s Minority Whip, will vie for the Republican senate nomination alongside several others who already have a head start on their campaigns.Leading Republican candidates include Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian, who are both polling higher than Reid, according to a recent Rasmussen survey.Christensen, a Clark High School graduate, was elected to the Nevada Assembly in 2002.
