LAS VEGAS -- People posing as College of Southern Nevada students are going door to door selling magazine subscriptions, school officials warned Thursday.

The fake students claim to be raising money for a class trip, although the college does not sponsor door-to-door solicitations.

“These individuals are misrepresenting themselves as CSN students and are not raising money for College of Southern Nevada programs, scholarships or events,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
